FTTx

TELEMANAPOLI FTTx connectivity   are data lines based partly or totally on fiber optic technology, in shared band mode. These lines provide the Customer with high standards in terms of   speed, both in download and upload  , and offer stability characteristics typical of a new and technologically advanced network structure.

Characteristics

FTTx data lines, based on the existing territorial coverage, can be of two types:

FTTH   (fiber) “Fiber to the Home” The fiber optic network reaches the customer directly, allowing maximum performance with extremely fast and reliable data transmission since it is entirely in fiber optics.
FTTCab   (fiber mixed copper) “Fiber to the Cabinet” The fiber reaches the distribution cabinet on the street, from which the copper telephone pair starts and reaches the Customer, allowing high-performance data transmission. A large capillarity on the territory is ensured by the pre-existing network.

Advantages

Reliability :   Fiber connections are more stable as they are less subject to interruptions and technical problems.

Performance :   Broadband allows data to travel at a faster speed than systems based on copper technology.

Innovation : Fiber connections enable access to the most innovative services and applications.
